To raise awareness of the healthcare needs of patients with chronic rheumatic musculoskeletal disease (RMDs)
To develop novel patient centred services.
To develop competencies to deliver nurse led care.
To encourage, enable and facilitate participants to consider career progression to clinical nurse specialist (CNS) & registered advanced nurse practitioner (RANP).
To enhance the knowledge, skills & expertise of nurses working in a variety of clinical settings, (rheumatology nurses, practice nurses, homecare nursing teams).
To promote recruitment and retention of rheumatology nursing staff.
